Son of former Roscommon great set to switch to the Rossies next season | Roscommon Herald

The son of one of Roscommon’s most high-profile senior footballers towards the end of the last Millennium to set to throw his lot in with the Rossies next season. Jack Duggan, son of former Roscommon forward Derek Duggan, is in line to be vying for a place in Davy Burke’s panel in 2024. Current Roscommon goalkeeper Conor Carroll made his move to the county team in a similar fashion. Duggan is a highly-rated player with Clonguish in Longford and was an integral part of the team that lost out narrowly in this year’s Longford senior football final. Just like Carroll who continues to play his club football with Oranmore/Maree in Galway, Duggan will continue to line out with Clonguish at club level.
